The First Commander in Chief of Pakistan Air Force (Non Muslim) was Air Vice Marshal L. Paery Cane (1947-1949). After the independence of Pakistan,there were few qualified people who suited for these higher ranks. Therefore the founder of the country chose foreign people to serve Pakistan air force.
