Sun bear is one of the types of Bears and is famous as the smallest bear in the world mainly from South East Asia. It is also famous with another name as Himalayan Black Bear. Sun bear are almost 1.2m to 1.4 m long and weigh about 25 kg to 65 kg. They are black in color and have a black and white on their chests. They have a very fluffy and soft skin that they can easily turn their head at all sides. Sun bears have been in danger from people harvesting various parts of their skin and bodies for use in Traditional Chinese Medicine. These bears use to live in their nests and spend maximum of its daytime in sleeping and sunbathing. They go out for feeding at night.
