Smallest Cat Of The World: Smallest Cat Species

Out of 37 cat family species, Black-footed cat of South Africa is the smallest cat of the world. This has a head and body length of not more than 50 cm and a tail length up to 20 cm. It may weigh as little as 1.5 kg. This smallest feline wild cat breed or species prey mainly on small mammals and birds, but also eats insects and reptiles, in the arid grasslands of South Africa.
