Mosque is the sacred place of worship for the Muslims. The word “Mosque” is derived from the Arabic word “Masjid”, which is related to the concept of “prostration”. Muslims are expected to pray five times a day, preferably in a mosque at morning, midday, afternoon, sunset and evening. A ”Muazzan” calls the worshippers to prayer from a tower or minaret, in the from of Azaan. The Immam of mosque leads the prayer and all the muslims offer their prayers under his leadership.
