The Monument Waterfall is 561 meter tall. A waterfall is a place where flowing water rapidly drops in elevation as it flows over a steep region or a cliff. Waterfalls are most commonly formed when a river is young. Monument waterfall Is one of three waterfalls converging above Avalanche Lake in the Glacier National Park. Best viewed in early summer.
