Blue Books are the official Books of England and they are an official report of the British Government. It is an annual publication and is referred as an almanac, which not only includes the information, encyclopedia, directory, facts list, address list for the Government but also tabular information in every field that is officially set according to the calendar. It also includes other assemblage of statistics and information regarding the state. The name dates back to the 15th century, when the Parliament of the United Kingdom used large blue velvet-covered books for keeping the records. But officially in 1916 the British Parliament published a “Blue Book” that ascribed the events of 1915–16 as a methodical attempt to eradicate the Armenian people.
In present times, The Office for National Statistics (ONS), the executive office of the UK Statistics Authority and a non-ministerial department uses bluebooks, which reports directly to the Parliament of the United Kingdom. That bluebook report provides comprehensive ballpark figure of:

  • State National Product,
  • Revenue and Expenses of the Country

And also it explains the

  • Profits and costs added by industry,
  • Full financial records by division – including monetary and non-monetary corporations, fundamental and local government and domestic and assets structure.

It also highlights and explainsan annual figure for preliminary, impermanent and full quarterly approximation of state financial accounts.
